The Prelude

Wednesday 27th October - the house is finally empty, couldn't have got this far with without the Herculian efforts of my baby sister Bev & magnificent Brother-in-law Mal.

So it's dinner and bed for the night at David and Linda's.

Thursday 28th October last load of rubbish to the tip and inspection of Wagstaff by the rental agent.

Headed off to Jan Juc to get Mighty Merc organised. That is, once Daniel next door helped Steve fix the garage door so we could lock it !

Very grateful for the use of Vicki & Herbs house (sometimes known as the Kendall's holiday house) because Mighty Merc is completely full with left over bits from the house and everything has been thrown on the floor. Bags from the back doors right the way to the dashboard. Also extremely grateful for the advice and tips on how to set-up for the trip.

Several days later and we are ready to go - Start date is Cup Day, Tuesday 2nd November 2010.
