Step 2 - Sale to Mallacoota. 5th - 7th November

Friday 5th November - first attempt at packing up to leave park before 10:00 check-out goes right down to the wire but we make it and hit the road heading for Mallacoota.

Quick stop at Bairnsdale to pick up extra hose for Mighty Merc from Jayco and then at the bakery for rolls and coffee scroll for lunch.

Stopped in Orbost at the park for lunch, hand made by Di in the Mighty Merc.

Arrived in Mallacoota at 3:45 smack bang in the middle of the weigh in for the 3 day fishing tournament. So this is what peak hour in Mallacoota looks like

Checked in to Mallacoota Foreshore Caravan Park for two nights. After setting up, discover our "next door neighbours" are from Gouda in Holland, touring East Coast for six weeks on holiday. All of us agree that with the million dollar views this is not a bad way to spend a couple of days.

Lazy couple of days, just walking around and taking in the sights including coffee shop that does exceptionally good coffee. A little different to the last time Steve was here, for a Soccer tournament with a couple of mates. Interesting couple of stories from that weekend - but not on this web-site ;-)
